Our Story

Rooted in Wyoming, Zach Wagner embodies a legacy of faith, family, and integrity. His family has a multigenerational history in oil and gas, with experience spanning Wyoming, Saudi Arabia, the North Sea, and Brazil. From an early age, Zach aspired to become a petroleum engineer, but health challenges led him to pivot toward success in the real estate capital markets, where he transacted on over $1.5 billion in loans as a commercial mortgage broker. As Managing Director of Stacksource, he led a team of originators serving clients nationwide.
Now, Zach is returning to his roots in oil and gas, driven by his passion for supporting rural communities and making a positive impact. He remains committed to hard work, family, and faith, believing that integrity and dedication are key to success. His vision for success includes giving back, such as commissioned painting by artists as contributions to the Arlington, Texas Medal of Honor Museum, which will feature artwork honoring the lives of two Texas residents who earned the Presidential Medal of Honor as members of the first SEAL Team 6 during the Vietnam War.
Zach resides in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex with his wife, two young daughters and son. When not working, attending meetings, or managing operations in the field, Zach can be found at his wife’s side cheering his children on at local sports fields or gymnastics clubs.

Kishan A – Chief Strategy Officer
Kishan leads risk management, sustainability initiatives, and carbon credit strategies at Last Mile Production, LLC. With a background in comprehensive risk assessment, insurance strategy, and IT security, Kishan proactively manages emerging risks and transforms environmental liabilities into premium carbon credits, reinforcing Last Mile’s commitment to operational excellence and sustainability.
Travis – Project Supervisor
With extensive years of elite leadership from the U.S. Marine Corps Special Forces and senior government positions, Travis directs field execution at Last Mile. Known for precision, logistical expertise, and process-driven performance, Travis oversees complex well-site operations, integrating systems, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with ESG goals. His disciplined, mission-focused approach delivers reliable results on time and budget.
Field Operations Team
The backbone of Last Mile’s operational excellence, this seasoned team collectively offers over 40 years of West Texas oilfield experience. Specializing in rig supervision, pipeline maintenance, SCADA interfacing, and emissions reduction technologies, they expertly manage daily operations across all lifecycle stages—from initial drilling to asset retirement. Their dedication, expertise, and hands-on innovation ensure consistent production, safety compliance, and minimized environmental impact.
